Finished size: 76 inches Square. This quilt features the American Summer fabric line from Connecting Threads.  However, any combination of patriotic reds, light blues, dark blues and your choice of cream or white for a backgroun will work wonderfully well.
 
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:
Large red print for outer border: 1 3⁄4 yards
Navy blue stripe for outer border: 1 3⁄4 yards
Light blue print for stars andborder: 1 3⁄4 yards
Red flag print for blocks and setting squares: 1 3⁄4 yards
 Cream handkerchief print for 6 1⁄2” star background: 1 yard
 Star cream print for 9” star background: 1 1⁄4 yard
Navy blue pennant print for 9” star points: 1 1⁄4 yard
 Navy blue flag print for 9” star centers and 6 1⁄2” star points: 1 1⁄2 yard
Binding: 1 yard
